" Back to School Mallory"

I finally finished my next book. Like I did on the other, I did a five finger retell. I hope you love listening to a great book.

1. Characters- Mallory, Max, Mary Ann, Pamela, Mom, Dad, Joey, and the teacher.
2. Setting- Fern Falls Elementary and Mallory's house.
3. Problem- Mallory was getting ready to go to school when she found out her mom was going to be the new music teacher. She thought kids were suppose to bring paper,pencils,and backpacks to school, not their MOMS! After a while mom decided to have the third graders to do a show. She ended up being the eggplant. She was mad she also had to invite her friend to the show. She thought she would embarrass herself in front of her best friend. She was worried. She had a very BIG problem.
   
4. Events- Back to School and the big Fall Festival (the Show).
5. Solution- Her dad told her a story. He said," Give your mom and class mates a chance. So she did. She got used to her classmates and her mom being the music teacher. She began being friends with Pamela.
